Pups have a nap break from 12 -2.
This is also a time for pups to have lunch. All meals are fed with an hour break from time they finish eating to allow for their stomachs to rest. This greatly lowers chance of Bloat.
If you would like, additional meals can be fed at no cost.
Please ensure your pups first and last name are on the bag/ container of food.
We offer an on site fridge and freezer to accommodate raw food diets.
You are welcome to bring a frozen Kong for your pup to have during nap time.
We accept all topical and oral medications for our Fur Friends at no additional cost. We are also experienced in administering injectable medication to agreeable dogs. Please call us to discuss your pet's medication needs.
Please ensure that your pup enters Dogs Tail with a leash.
While we do accept all types of collars, it is recommended to have a nylon buckle collar that is properly fitted(able to fit 2 fingers between the collar and the dogs neck).
If your pup comes in a different collar then they will be switched to one of our collars for safety reasons.
Any items your pup come with will be put in a cubby for the day.
Our rooms are filled with a variety of different toys and activities.
Because of this we ask that you please leave your pups toys at home so they do not get lost.
While we do have cubbies for the pups, there is only so much room for personal items.
Please refrain from supplying your pups bed.
For pups with special needs and seniors we have beds and blankets that we will supply for them.
Dogs Tail is fully equipped with a variety of different sized bowls and slow feeders.
Please let us know if you would like your pup fed in a slow feeder.
During the nap time pups are periodically checked on. However, there are periods of unsupervised time. Because of this we ask that you do not pack Raw hides or other hard treats as they could be a choking hazard.
