Prepare your pup for a day of fun and adventure at Dogs Tail Inc. with our guide on what to bring to daycare. Essentials like food, water, and comfort items help your dog feel secure, while favourite toys keep them engaged throughout the day.
With access to our spacious, grassed, shaded yards and safe, shock-resistant indoor flooring, your pup can run, explore, and play comfortably in every area. Bringing the right items ensures your dog enjoys a safe, stimulating, and paw-some experience, making their time at daycare both fun and stress-free from start to finish.
Food
Pups have a nap break from 12 -2.
This is also a time for pups to have lunch. All meals are fed with an hour's break from the time they finish eating to allow for their stomachs to rest. This greatly lowers the chance of Bloat.Â
If you would like, additional meals can be fed at no cost.
Please ensure your pup's first and last name are on the bag/ container of food.
We offer an on-site fridge and freezer to accommodate raw food diets.Â
Kongs
You are welcome to bring a frozen Kong for your pup to have during nap time.
Medication
We accept all topical and oral medications for our Fur Friends at no additional cost. We are also experienced in administering injectable medication to agreeable dogs. Please call us to discuss your pet's medication needs.
Collar and Leash
Please ensure that your pup enters Dogs Tail with a leash.
While we do accept all types of collars, it is recommended to have a nylon buckle collar that is properly fitted (able to fit 2 fingers between the collar and the dog's neck).
If your pup comes in a different collar then they will be switched to one of our collars for safety reasons.
Any items your pup comes with will be put in a cubby for the day.
