At Dogs Tail Inc., our Meet and Greets are an essential part of welcoming new pups, including a thorough 24-point evaluation to ensure a smooth, comfortable introduction to daycare. We assess your dog’s interactions with people, response to handling, greetings with other dogs, body language, and play energy. This helps us manage anxieties or aggression and set your pup up for safe, positive experiences with staff and other dogs.
We also show pups our spacious, grassed, shaded yards and safe, shock-resistant flooring so they can explore and play comfortably. Small group introductions and careful supervision ensure every dog gets attention and a positive start. Throughout the process, we communicate openly with Pet Parents, sharing observations and answering questions to build confidence. Our team is committed to creating a safe, enjoyable environment where dogs thrive and owners feel secure.
Waivers and Vaccinations
Before your pup’s first day, we make the paperwork simple and stress-free. Our Daycare Waiver can be completed digitally or on paper for easy check-in. Up-to-date vaccination records are required to keep every dog safe and healthy. They can be emailed to ac.liaTsgoD%40ofnI in advance. This ensures your dog can focus on fun from the moment they arrive, enjoying our grassed, shaded yards and safe, shock-resistant indoor flooring.
Meeting New People
When you arrive, an experienced Pack Leader will welcome your pup and guide them to our introduction room. Here, we observe how they respond to new people and temporary separation from their owners. This careful approach helps your dog feel confident and at ease while experiencing safe indoor spaces and access to their own shaded outdoor area for short, supervised exploration.
Meeting New Pups
Your dog meets other dogs in our calm Garden room, designed to reduce first-day anxiety. Our team supervises every interaction closely, allowing pups to explore, play, and build confidence safely. Shy or new dogs benefit from our Intro to Daycare program, which gradually introduces them to playgroups, our large grassed yards, and shaded outdoor spaces so they feel secure and included from day one.
Find Your Play Room
After initial visits, we observe your dog’s play style and energy to place them in the best room. High-energy pups join lively groups, while calmer dogs enjoy quieter spaces, each with access to their own outdoor yard. Our goal is safe, engaging, and fun interactions, with plenty of room to run, explore, and enjoy shaded, grassed areas, so every pup feels comfortable and at home.
