Dogs Tail accepts intact pups regardless of age. A few rules are set in regards to this.
Pups over the age of 6 months who are still intact are on a strict rotation with intact pups of the opposite gender.
Certain behaviors are linked to hormones related to sexual maturity. Different dogs will display these behaviors differently.
Pups may be recommended to have more rest periods during their day, to attend training programs, or recommended for neuter if behaviors become problematic.
Please note pups are not allowed in open play while they are in their heat cycle. These pups may however they may still come into daycare for a specialized care program which will include walks, individual play, and diaper changes.
