Vaccination Requirements
Distemper/Parvo(DHPP)
Your puppy will receive their first vaccination between 6 and 8 weeks old, and booster shots will be given once every 3- 4 weeks until your puppy is 15 to 18 weeks old.
After that, they will require a booster every year or every 3 years, depending on which booster your vet recommends.Rabies
While Rabies is super rare in Alberta it is still a strongly recommended vaccination and a requirement at Dogs Tail for all pups over 16 weeks.
After that, there is a 1-year booster or a 3-year booster.Bordetella
Bordetella is also known as Canine/Kennel Cough.
This vaccination is not always a standard vaccine, and you may have to ask your vet for them to administer it.
Bordetella is a yearly vaccination.Exceptions
Please provide a note from your vet if your pup has any exceptions.
